Jewellery Care
As many of our jewellery pieces are handcrafted, they are delicate and require proper care in order to increase its lifespan.
Some of our jewellery pieces may contain gold plated parts. They will eventually tarnish over time when the layer of gold plating has worn off. How long each piece of jewellery can last really depends on individual usage and care.
To ensure your delicate jewellery stays pretty and well, please avoid:
- bathing/swimming with jewellery on.
- direct contact with perfumes, lotions, deodorants, etc.
- wiping or rubbing the gold-plated jewelry too often. Wiping or rubbing the jewelry more often than necessary will contribute to the gold lining wearing away.
- wearing to do exercise as your perspire will speed up tarnishing.
When not in use, please place jewellery in an air tight box to prevent oxidation of metal.
